TimSome customers might experience issues with the OpenDeck online configurator . It is good to know that using such a configurator has some requirements.
There are a few needs for the controller to show up:
- The browser needs to support WEB MIDI, and when the browser ask for permission it must be granted or else it will not work. See for more information how to give devices access to WEB MIDI.
- This also means that you have to use the Chrome browser. Safari doesn’t work as web midi isn’t supported by Apple Safari. Please make sure you use Chrome.
- iPads/iPhones, even with Chrome, don’t support WEB MIDI as this is blocked by Apple. It does work on computers (also MacBook, Mac Mini etc, al computers with MacOS), and also on Android phones and tablets.
